This place is like in-school suspension. I wonder if they keep "rap sheets" on all of us in a filing cabinet in El Segundo. They probably even have a board with Most Wanted posters like at the Post Office, or maybe a deck of cards like they did for the troops during the early stages in Iraq.

I currently have two thorns in my butt, Tinkerbell & Rex, but I think I got the upper hand and spanked them both pretty good... Neither will respond to my PM's to them. Both questioned my education and if I really was a teacher... I kept it clean by only calling them "idiots". Tinkerbell complained to HWC Chris, and Chris suspended me for 7 (whoopee) days.

But Rex has called me the slow kid, drunken little troll, petty little man, mental capacity of a baby monkey, and that was all in one long PM.

It's getting old... paying customers ought to be allowed to voice our displeasure and the fact that they've begun resorting to Draconian levels of outright censorship is both disgusting and revealing. I don't see things getting better any time soon.

There is an internal fight going on to wrestle control of this club away from the marketing team. They were shown some of my unflattering posts and told, "You see, you guys are missing the mark and this guy's not alone in his disenchantment." All I have done is get myself booted, BUT in the process I got someone's attention and there's some serious finger-pointing going on in that boardroom, the heat is on. It is also a pressure cooker of sorts because the general consensus is that if they don't turn this thing around, 2010 could be its swan song.

LOL... the same place I did. We (all of us) have a few allies within Mattel that do not like what's been happening with the club since Marketing has taken it over, and they are trying to do something about it.

Unfortunately, as some of us have discovered - while we do have allies and like-minded individuals under Mattel's employ, there may not be enough of them to make a difference unless this year totally bottoms out.

Marketing said that I was "sabotaging and undermining" sales by brainwashing the membership.

Someone looked at me as being a leader of the disgruntled, and hopes now that I'm gone sales will skyrocket. It seems they think that everyone was happy to purchase everything until I suggested that all is not as it appears.

As for the rest of you unappreciative disgrutled pirates, hijacking threads by voicing your displeasure with the spectacular works of art that our marketing team has worked so hard to offer you, a word to the wise. Be careful what you say or you'll be next.

If they really wanted to turn this place around they could, but as long as there's no one willing to call them out they don't feel the need to. If by killing MANTIS they quiet others, that's a step in the right direction as far as they're concerned.
